Army Day Celebration. Private (Pvt.) Robert D. Pressley, on kitchen police in Company H, 155th Infantry, was making a big hole in the ton of potatoes brought from Camp Bowie. He peels them so fast his company calls him Spud. Private Pressley is wearing a chef's hat and white uniform. He is holding a vegetable peeler in his right hand and reaching for another potato with the other. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 5, 1942.
