Army Day Celebration. Shown here are Private (Pvt.) Frank Bray, left, and Private (Pvt.) Dewey Broadway, Company H. They are shown cooking supper in the kitchen. The kitchen was not there. Two Privates (Pvts.) are using there old stuff and cooking in a tent. Private Broadway is spooning a sticky white substance from a huge stock pot and Private Bray is holding the lid to the pot with a towel. Both are wearing chefs uniforms. A few other kitchen appliances are lying on the table. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 5, 1942.
