Description
A view of Army Day Celebration. Army equipment was of major interest to persons watching the 155th Infantry Regiment and smaller Camp Bowie units pitch camp around Farrington Field Saturday afternoon. Shown here is a gun crew of the 180th Tank-destroyer Company, unattached, from Arkansas, cleaning up their 75-millimeter gun. Eight men are standing behind the gun. In the background are rows and rows of military vehicles parked in a field. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 5, 1942.
