Description
A view of Army Day Celebration. Army equipment was of major interest to persons watching the 155th Infantry Regiment and smaller Camp Bowie units pitch camp around Farrington Field Saturday afternoon. Shown here are Private First Class (Pfc.) William H. Dean (left) and Private First Class (Pfc.) W. A. Acklin, 155th Antitank Company. They demonstrate how they can put their 37-millimeter gun operation in 30 seconds. Both are crouching behind the gun, intensely focusing on the demonstration. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, April 5, 1942.
