The 15th annual Panhandle Plains Dairy Show is being held in Plainview, Texas. The show exhibits both dairy cattle and dairy products and attracts crowds from all over the Plains country. Miss Rhudean Talley is being crowned queen of the show. Her escort is Joe Milne, a member of the Royal Air Force from Scotland. He is currently stationed in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He is dressed in his uniform. Miss Talley is wearing a long gown, a crown shaped by flowers, and a floral sash.
