The committee chairmen for the annual charity ball of the Girls Service League are meeting to finalize details. The committee members are, left to right, Mrs. C. I. Gilliland, Mrs. DuBart Mizell, Mrs. C. C. Cartwright, Mrs. Gordon Boswell, and Mrs. John Reeves. The women are standing behind a table, enjoying tea and pastries. Mrs. Gilliland is wearing a hat and a button-up polka-dot dress. Mrs. Mizell is wearing a dress with lace around the collar and cuffs. Mrs. Cartwright is wearing a hat, dress, and a brooch. Mrs. Boswell is dressed in a floral print blouse and a skirt. Mrs. Reeves is dressed in a hat, blouse, blazer, skirt, and a brooch. A large arrangement of flowers is positioned in the center of the table and a tea set is at the right. The Charity Ball will be held at the Hotel Texas.
