Description
The first concrete goes down on the west half of the new Hemphill Street paving, with workmen hard at it in the area between Biddison and Shaw and moving northward at the rate of about 900 feet daily. Image shows an overview of the base of what will be the newly constructed Hemphill St. Trucks and construction crews can be seen. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition February 27, 1942.
