    Description

Soldiers at Camp Bowie now find recreation in one of the finest recreation centers in the country. It's Brownwood's new $69,000 United Service Organization (U. S. O.) Club recently completed and dedicated amid gay festivities. Six soldiers are pictured here. They are shown seated in the library reading magazines and writing letters home. In the scene are Corporal (Corp.) Charles Murphy of Newark, N. J. (front left) and Private (Pvt.) Raymond Oviatt of Salt Lake City, Utah; (back, left to right) are Corporal (Corp.) Spencer Ehrlich, Los Angeles, California; Staff Sergeant (Sgt.) R. P. French, Leedey, Oklahoma; Private (Pvt.) Harold Greenwald, Seattle, Washington, and Sergeant (Sgt.) J. J. Milheon, Paris, Arkansas. All are dressed in military uniforms. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 15, 1942.
