Description
The Texas Golden Gloves champions are in good spirits as they leave on a train for Chicago, Illinois to compete in Nationals. Riding in a passenger car of the train, left to right, are Hubert Gray, Eli Katich, and Arlo Roye. Gray is a bantamweight from Wichita Falls, Texas. He is dressed in a striped button-up shirt, blazer, and trousers. Katich is a middleweight out of El Paso, Texas, and a soldier and Fort Bliss. He is wearing a military uniform. Roye is a San Angelo, Texas, featherweight. He is dressed in a suit, coat, and cowboy boots. They are riding in a passenger car, reading "The Ring" magazine.
