Description
The 1942 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. The fighters in the final round of the light-heavy weight division are being presented with trophies. Pictured left to right are Walter Barnett and Tom Attra. Barnett is a soldier at Camp Bowie and is representing Brownwood, Texas. The brawl was close all the way, but in the end Attra won the decision and the light-heavyweight crown. He is holding a first place trophy while Barnett holds the one for second place.
