Description
The 1942 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. During the timeout between rounds, Scotty McLaughlin (right) is talking to welterweight boxer Marvin Bryant in a corner of the ring. McLaughlin is wearing a tie and a jacket and holding a sponge. The referee is leaning over the side of the ropes. Bryant went on to win the welterweight title.
