Description
The 1942 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Prior to the opening fights, the boxers are being weighed and examined at the Golden Gloves Gymnasium in the Medical Arts Building. Registering, left to right, are Lodeal Vance and Solomon Sanchez. Warren Connolly is checking in the boys. Vance, of Sherman, Texas, is a flyweight. He is dressed is a hat, button-up shirt, coat, and striped trousers. Sanchez, of Denison, Texas, is a lightweight. He is wearing a pinstripe suit. Mr. Connolly is dressed in a hat, button-up shirt, necktie, and trousers.
