Description
The 1942 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Fighting, left to right, in the bantamweight division are Hubert Gray and Junior Jones. Gray is a representative of Wichita Falls, Texas. He is shown swinging a hard left at his opponent. Jones, of Olney, Texas, is ducking below the blow. The referee is standing in the background. Gray went on to win the fight by outpointing Jones.
