Description
The jury room at the Tarrant County Courthouse is crowded with male jurors in suits, ties and fedora hats. Some are sitting, some are standing, and a few are leaning against a wall. Some are wearing overcoats and wing-tipped shoes while another is wearing cowboy boots. There are various framed pictures on the wall and the chain-link wall behind them. There is a support column reaching from ceiling to floor. An industrial type pipe runs above them, along with a small hanging light and ceiling fan. Crowded conditions like these were hit by the Fort Worth Bar Association. G. W. Parker Junior, its president, named a committee to investigate jurors' complaints that their one-week home is poorly cleaned and poorly furnished.
