Description
Abe Kantrovich setting Western Union master clock to "War Time," an hour ahead of standard time, changed at 2 AM. Mr. Kantrovich, testing and regulating chief, is shown standing on top of a chair as he reaches up and changes the time from 2:00 AM to 3:00 AM. He is wearing a striped shirt and a pair of trousers. The master clock regulates 171 other clocks at various points in the city. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 9, 1942.
