Junior Woman's Club members in Fort Worth are active in civilian defense projects. Some are taking the Red Cross first aid course. Shown here seated are two students Mrs. C. R. Pressley Junior (Jr.), left, Mrs. J. T. Talkington and instructor Mrs. Ethel Gandy (standing). Mrs. Pressley and Mrs. Talkington are learning the art of correct bandaging from Mrs. Gandy. She is demonstrating the correct bandaging method on Mrs. Talkington, who has an arm sling and bandages wrapped around her head. Mrs. Pressley is observing and learning from the instructor. She is wearing a knitted shirt with a dark, knee-length skirt. She also has a bandage wrapped across her upper chest and shoulder. Mrs. Talkington is wearing a jacket and a pair of trousers and Mrs. Gandy is wearing a dark, long-sleeve dress. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 18, 1942.
