The 1942 Golden Gloves District Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Competing for the heavyweight district title, left to right, are Pee Wee Holton and J. B. "Punkin" Smith. Holton weighs in at 178-pounds. Smith is a 225-pound freshman from Texas Christian University. Holton is tying up the hefty fighter. Holton went on to win the decision.
