Good shot, Good Start -- Basketball game between Texas Wesleyan College (TWC) and Abilene Christian College on Friday night. Texas Wesleyan won 42-22. The action shot is pictured here. Raymond Matthis came up between J. E. Smith, number 14, and Eugene Tenney while Weyman Cotton, number 66, and Leon Locke watched. It was the Rams' 30th straight title victory. The players are wearing their team uniforms and standing on the court and looking at the ball. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 24, 1942.
