Description
The 1942 Golden Gloves District Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Battling in the Class A bantamweight division are Jimmy Adams and Les Myers (standing). In the second round, Adams fell to the canvas after a strong bop from Myers. Despite the knock, Adams climbed back to his feet and went on to win the decision. The boxers are in the ring, both wearing boxing gloves and shorts.
