Description
Texas Christian University's Ranch Week observance was Friday and Saturday, January 30-31. 'Pardner, you've shore got something there!' Miss Genevieve Prater of Memphis, Texas exclaims as she measures the beard which Bennie Post of Marian, Louisiana, has grown for Ranch Week. Miss Prater is a junior and Post a freshman. Both are horseback riders. Genevieve is holding a ruler to Bennie's chin, looking intently at the ruler as she measures. Bennie is looking off into the distance. They are both wearing Western attire. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 2, 1942.
