Movie star Judy Garland is in Mineral Wells, Texas to visit Camp Wolters and appear in a U. S. O. Show. The famous Wizard of Oz actress is posing for a picture with two of her admirers they are Billy Suddith, left, and Herbert Cohen. Both boys are Mineral Wells school children. Miss Garland led a parade of 2,000 school children to the post office to purchase stamps. She is wearing a bow in her hair, a suit with lace around the collar, and a fur jacket over her shoulders. Billy is wearing a sweater and trousers. Herbert is dressed in a collared shirt, sweater, and trousers. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 31, 1942.
