Amateur boxers from all around the area are preparing for the 1942 Golden Gloves District Tournament in Fort Worth, Texas. Training in the ring is North Side southpaw, Raymond Kane. He will help to make the flyweight division a four-star attraction in the district tournament. He is shown sitting on a stool in the corner of the ring, wearing boxing gloves and shorts.
