Description
Cadets at the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas (A. & M.) line up at the window to carry their own laundry after the war-time ban on personal service by freshmen to upperclassmen. At the front of the line, at the window, is Carl Bradberry, of Cleburne, Texas, a senior. Behind him are, left to right, Thomas Edwards, of Grandview, Texas, senior; Tom Stephens, of Temple, Texas, just graduated and off to the Army Air Corps; freshman R. E. Grady, of El Paso, Texas; sophomore Tom Andrews, of Crowell, Texas; sophomore Mike Bird, of Crowell, Texas; and sophomore James Teddlie, of Navasota, Texas. In the laundry window is junior Gallie Bogel, of Brownsville, Texas. All the students are wearing their cadet uniforms.
