Fort Worth Garden Club members are getting an early start in their "gardening for defense" movement. Mrs. Julian Meeker is studying her garden plan for her 1942 vegetable garden. She is known as a flower show judge and authority on flower arrangements in garden club circles. Mrs. Meeker is sitting at the edge of her garden, surrounded by seeds and gardening supplies.
