Description
Fort Worth Garden Club members are getting an early start in their "gardening for defense" movement. Planting tomato seeds, left to right, are Billy Zant and his mother, Mrs. W. A. Zant. Billy, 12, is learning to plant seeds in flats in the green house. He is wearing a t-shirt and jeans and is holding a box of peat moss. Mrs. Zant is president of the Fort Worth Council of Garden Clubs. She is dressed in a button-up blouse.
