Mr. and Mrs. John William Parker Junior, a happy newly married couple as they leave the University Christian Church after the ceremony. They are walking down the steps. The bride wears a beautiful dress, pearls and a hat, holding a bible with flowers on it. She is the former Miss Mary Patricia Talley, daughter of Mrs. Mary Talley. The grooms wears a coat and tie with a carnation boutonniere. He is "Knocky" Parker, pianist and son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Parker of Palmer. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 21, 1942.
