Description
Alex Cobden is the owner of Swift and Company's big packing plant. He came to Fort Worth, Texas, in 1902 to begin assembling materials for a project. Shown is a 40-year-old photograph owned by Mr. Cobden of the construction office of Swift and Company. The office was erected by Cobden before the rest of the plant-building crew arrived. In the back of the photograph is the Stockmen's Hotel.
