First tickets to the President's Balls to be staged here on January 30 were purchased Wednesday by members of the motion picture operatorss union. Accepting the $25 check on behalf of the Tarrant County Chapter for the Benefit of Infantile Pralysis is Mrs L.C. Elliott, newly elected chairman of the women's division of the celebration. Presenting the check is Miss Lorraine McDade, secretary of the birthday ball celebration. Miss McDade is wearing a fur coat and hat with a veil on it. Mrs. Elliot is wearing a skirt and a shirt with an emblem on it. They both have one hand on the check. Star-Telegram Morning, January 15 1942.
