Shown here is Amon Carter Riverside High School play cast. Performers of the play "Sixteen in August -- the Trouble With Gusty" are, seated, left to right, Miss Harris (Virginia Harris), Betty Brown, Dorothy Tye, Fred Brewer, La Gene Craig, and Virginia White; standing, Jean Weaver, Bob Gowin, Pressly Wright, and Modene Tate. Among the seated, Virginia Harris is in a wheelchair, Fred Brewer is sitting on a pillow on the floor, and Virginia White is sitting behind a desk holding a phone to her ear. Also on the set are a bookshelf full of books with a plant on top of it and two doors. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 15, 1942.
