Description
The couple is sitting back-to-back in wicker chairs, with Mr. Rauch focusing intently on his work while Mrs. Rauch is turned around, kneeling in her chair and looking on with affection. They have knitting needles and yarn in their hands. Their products will be given to the boys in the Navy. There is a magazine rack beside the chairs. Behind them, a tree-patterned wallpaper is covering the walls and curtains with pop-pom detailing are hanging on the windows just behind Mrs. Rauch. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 5, 1942.
