Description
Snow maids subdued a husky fireman Saturday after he dared 'em to snowball duel in costume they were wearing for Recreation Department dance. Girls are Gerry Christopher (left), and Jackie Clardy. Fireman is J. M. Hester. They are wearing bathing suits in the snow while the man is wearing a full uniform. He is on his knees, appearing defeated but still grasping a snowball. The two young women are standing on either side of him, smiling and holding up snowballs. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 4, 1942.
