Description
Shown are three firemen who were promoted recently. They are, left to right, E. M. Tunnell, J. C. Allison and A. E. Rodgers. Mr. Tunnell and Mr. Allison are wearing uniform of long-sleeve shirts, dark neckties and trousers. Mr. Rodgers is wearing a trench coat. These men figured in Saturday's Fire Department shifts announced by Chief Killian to fill vacancies created by retirement of three battalion chiefs and one fireman. Mr. Allison and Mr. Tunnell were promoted from captaincies to battalion chief rating. Battalion Chief Mr. Rodgers was transferred from department instructor to chief of District 2.
