Description

The Alabama Crimson Tide are facing off against the Texas A&M Aggies in the 1942 Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. The Crimson Tide represents the Southeastern Conference while the Aggies represent the Southwestern Conference. Alabama's halfback Jimmy Nelson (60) grabbed a Moser punt on his own twenty-eight yard-line and slipped through A&M tacklers. Nelson is shown at the forty-five yard-line, surrounded by blockers. Holt Rast (34) is out in front blocking Aggie punter Derace Moser (42). Running alongside Nelson is John Wyhonic (38). Alabama went on to win the game 29-21.
