Description
The High School Football State Championship game is being held at Farrington Field in Fort Worth, Texas. A crowd of 18,000 are on hand to witness the battle between the Wichita Falls Coyotes (dark jerseys) and the Temple Wildcats. Three players are shown leaping high into the air on a pass thrown by the Coyotes quarterback Gene Hill. The pass was intended for Bobbie Lee Smith. The leaping Wildcats are Wayland Hill (68) and Jack Allen (34). Allen intercepted the pass in the end zone for a touch back. Despite the turnover, Wichita Falls went on to win the game 13-0.
