Description
The High School Football State Championship game is being held at Farrington Field in Fort Worth, Texas. A crowd of 18,000 are on hand to witness the battle between the Wichita Falls Coyotes and the Temple Wildcats. Yell leaders from both schools are shown posing on the field before the game with the Temple "mascot", a taxidermy of a wildcat. Left to right are Deno Tufares, Billie Ogletree, Gloria Richardson, and Mollie Shannon. Mr. Tufares, eighteen, is a yell leader for the Coyotes. He is dressed in a button-up shirt and trousers. Miss Ogletree, fifteen, is a Coyote yell leader. She is wearing a spirit sweater and a pleated skirt. Miss Richardson is the head Wildcat yell leader. She is dressed in a button-up blouse and a letterman jacket. Miss Shannon, fourteen, is a yell leader for the Wildcats. She is wearing a collared blouse, coat, and a skirt.
