The Texas Christian University football team is loading aboard a train to Miami, Florida where they will compete in the 1942 Orange Bowl. Back Don Ezell is leaning out the train window to say goodbye to his sweetheart Patty Downs. Ezell is wearing a hat, collared shirt, and a blazer. Miss Downs, is a sophomore at Texas Christian University. She is wearing a long coat. An unknown women is standing in the background on the right is smiling at the exchange. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, December 27, 1941.
