Description
The Texas Christian University football team is loading aboard the train to Miami, Florida where they will compete in the 1942 Orange Bowl. The last three Frogs football players rushing to board the train, left to right are Dean Bagley, Bruce Alford, and Jim Woodfin are off to Florida. Bagley, a back, is dressed in a hat, button-up shirt, letterman jacket, trousers, and boots. Alford, an all-conference end, is wearing a collared shirt, letterman jacket, and trousers. Woodfin, a center, is dressed in a striped shirt, sweater, trousers, and boots. The players are carrying their suitcases. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, December 27, 1941.
