Description

Royal Air Force (RAF) Veteran Signs Up for Draft -- Tarrant County, Texas is conducting their peace time registration for the draft. Left to right are Granville Tunstill, and Bob Moore. Mr. Tunstill is the chief clerk at the Selective Service Board. He is wearing a dress shirt, necktie, vest, and trousers. Mr. Moore is back home from fighting Nazi planes over England with the Royal Air Force. He is shown registering with for the first time with Selective Service Board Number One at the Courthouse. He is dressed in a suit and a coat. Both men are sitting at a desk, holding pens and looking at some papers. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 17, 1941.
