Description

Royal Air Force (RAF) Veteran Signs Up for Draft -- Tarrant County, Texas is conducting their peace time registration for the draft. Left to right are Granville Tunstill, Bob Moore, and Lillian Bowen. Mr. Moore is back home from fighting Nazi planes over England with the Royal Air Force. He is shown registering with for the first time with Selective Service Board Number One at the Courthouse. He is dressed in a suit and a coat. Mr. Tunstill is the chief clerk. He is wearing a dress shirt, necktie, vest, and trousers. Miss Bowen, a stenographer, is sitting at a typewriter. She is wearing a blazer and a necklace. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 17, 1941.
