Description
Derrell Palmer is an all-conference tackle on the Texas Christian University football team. His teammates and coaches describe him as agile, aggressive, and popular. Though only nineteen years old, he is a leader of the football team and was elected as one of the Frogs' new captains for the 1942 season. He is shown shaving, a towel draped over his shoulder and shaving cream lathered across his face. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 10, 1941.
