Description
The high school state Bi-District game is being played at Farrington Field in Fort Worth, Texas. Battling to advance to the semifinals are the Amon Carter Riverside Eagles (white jerseys) and the Sunset Bison. With a mighty lunge, Sunset back Bill Blackburn (37) pushed the ball over the goal line. He is shown diving into the end zone, surrounded by Eagle defenders. The eight yard run went for the game's first touchdown. The Eagle defenders are Bobby Doyle (43) and E. F. Crites (39). Sunset went on to win the game 14-0. Published Star-Telegram Morn.
