Description

The high school state Bi-District game is being played at Farrington Field in Fort Worth, Texas. Battling to advance to the semifinals are the Amon Carter Riverside Eagles and the Sunset Bison. Attending the game, left to right are Jimmy Petty and Betty Jane Jefferson. Mr. Petty is the Riverside band director. He is dressed in a double breasted suit with a peaked cap. Miss Jefferson is the Riverside band sweetheart. She is wearing a side cap and a uniform. Sunset went on to win the game 14-0. "(Star-Telegram Photo.)" Published Star-Telegram Morn. Dec. 7, 1941.
