Description
Residents of Keller turned fire fighters Friday afternoon when a grass fire started a blaze that destroyed a lumber yard, beauty shop, and hardware store. While they waited for a water hose to be brought over from Roanoke, Texas, seven miles away, the volunteer firemen removed merchandise from the hardware store. Behind the removed hardware store goods is a line of people at Byrd Drug Store. They are shielding their eyes as they stare at the fire. There are automobiles parked along the street.
