"Keep 'em Flying" observance attendees (left to right) Miss Polly Riggs, Roy Worthing of the Royal Air Force (RAF), Miss Sue Harding, William Pauling of Hicks Field, Mrs W. M. Slay Junior (Jr.) and Joe Oliver of the Royal Air Force (RAF). The group of six are shown with linked arms walking down a sidewalk in front of a 'A National Hotel'. The men are dressed in military uniform. The three young women of the Red Cross Motor Corps are in uniforms. All are dressed in buttoned up jackets and skirts and hats with Red Cross symbol. Miss Harding and Mrs. Slay Junior (Jr.) are also wearing signs around their necks that read "Keep 'Em Flying". The group appears to be smiling, as on some onlookers watch them. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 27, 1941.
