Employees at the Western Union Telegraph Company are voting in the Union Election. Placing her vote in the ballot box is Miss Alma Williams. Awaiting his turn to vote is T. B. Gabel. Mr. Clifford W. Potter is sitting at the right. Two unidentified men are sitting at the far left. Miss Williams is a telephone operator. She is wearing a short-sleeve dress. Mr. Gabel is a messenger. He is dressed in a peaked cap, collared shirt, sweater, and trousers. Mr. Potter is the National Labor Relations Board field examiner. He is wearing a double breasted suit and an "Authorized Observer" button.
