Description
The Texas Christian University football team is hosting the visiting Southern Methodist University at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. Attending the Homecoming game, left to right are Mrs. Lou Carr Bass and Miss Lucille Trent. Both women are alumna of TCU, but received their diplomas sixty years apart. Mrs. Bass was the first girl to graduate from TCU in 1879. She is dressed in a hat, button-up blouse, and a skirt. Miss Trent graduated in 1939. She is wearing a hat, collared blouse, plaid blazer and a matching skirt. The women are shown reading a newspaper. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 30, 1941.
