The Texas Christian University football team is hosting the visiting Southern Methodist University at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. In attendance sitting on the bleachers, left to right are Laura Cannon, Jean Lipps, and Alice Freels. Miss Cannon, of Dallas, Texas, is a student at S. M. U. She is dressed in a hat, collared blouse, blazer, and a skirt. Miss Lipps, of Fort Worth, Texas, is hosting her visiting friends. She is wearing a hat, dress, fur coat, and a T. C. U. pin. Miss Freels, is from Denison, Texas. She is dressed in a button-up blouse, blazer, and a skirt. The women met at the University of Colorado over the summer. They are enjoying the close defensive contest, which resulted in a 15-13 Frogs victory. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 30, 1941.
