Description
The Texas Christian University football team is hosting the visiting Southern Methodist University at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. The Frogs started off the game strong with this long run from back Nolan Sparks, 24. He is shown crossing the Mustang forty-five yard line on his way to the end-zone. His teammate Ronnie Brumbaugh, 81, is preparing to throw a block. Mustang Samuel Young, 20, is in pursuit. Sparks went on to score the first touchdown of the game. In the sideline is the teammates watching closely. T. C. U. won the close contest 15-13. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 30, 1941.
