Description
The Texas Christian University football team is hosting the visiting Southern Methodist University at Amon G. Carter Stadium. With a tie game in the fourth quarter, the Frogs drew up a deep pass. Quarterback Kyle Gillespie (40) dropped back ten yards and heaved a long aerial to Bruce Alford, who slipped behind Mustang defenders Lendon Davis (15) and Red Maley (40). Alford (83) caught the ball on the ten and racing into the end zone for a forty-five yard touchdown and the lead. The Frogs went on to win the close contest 15-13.
