Description
These four Disciples of Christ members are here for a joint meeting of the state board of the Texas Woman's Christian Missionary Society and the state board of religious education. Left to right, T. T. Swearingen of Indianapolis, Indiana, Mrs. H. B. Marx of Indianapolis, Indiana, Reverend R. C. Snodgrass of Amarillo, Texas, and Mrs. L. L. Butts of Dallas, Texas. They are shown standing beside each other in front of an empty wall. Both men are wearing suit jackets while the women wear coats and dresses. Mrs. Butts is also wearing a small hat. Reverend Snodgrass, Mrs. Butts and Mrs. Marx are turned towards Mr. Swearingen and appear to be smiling at him as he talks. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 25, 1941.
